Romania will continue to support Moldova in achieving the European integration objective, Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta said in a telephone discussion with acting Premier Vlad Filat, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Government, the officials discussed projects concerning the interconnection power lines Iasi – Ungheni, Gotesti – Falciu, and Balti – Suceava and the construction of the Iasi – Ungheni gas pipeline. It was mentioned that the construction works on the gas pipeline will start in the near future.

The officials underlined that the relations between Moldova and Romania develop constantly. They also discussed aspects regarding Moldova’ integration into the EU.
