The head of the Association of Legal Career Women of Moldova Jana Costachi said the Moldovan political parties continue to be thought up as Ltds, while in politics there are groups of interests. In an interview for Radio Free Europe, Jana Costachi said the Republic of Moldova lags behind in ensuring human quality and decency, IPN reports.

“You accept to become an opinion leader and to struggle within your own party, gathering around you new persons who are on the same wavelength as you and are in the same state of absolute intellectual or spiritual discomfort. In such a case things, can be changed from inside. From my viewpoint, this political migration is an exercise of betraying you own aspiration and conviction. This way we start to implant the idea that a party is an Ltd. Political migration was and remains banal and even harmful,” stated Jana Costachi.

She considers that corruption at the political level is only the top of the iceberg. “Corruption, in its petty and perverse forms, starts in every commune. The registration of a child at kindergarten means draws and phone calls and influence peddling. Obtaining an authorization, for example, for a school that does not meet at least 60% of the required standards is also a challenge. It is a gesture of corruption,” she said.

Jana Costachi also said that in Moldova they managed to discredit all the public institutions. For the people, such worlds as ‘parliament, ‘government’ and ‘minister’ represent a criterion of possible personal and professional disrepute and this is what we cannot tolerate during very long periods of time.
