Political parties do not have an offer for unionists, opinion

The political parties in Moldova do not have an offer for unionists. Also, among the parties there is no leader who would gathered around himself all the forces, said invitees from the panel of talk show “People’s Council” that is produced by 10TV channel, IPN reports.

The head of the Chisinau municipal organization of the Party “Action and Solidarity” Vladimir Bolea stated  an unionist party definitely has prospects in Moldova because over 80% of the country’s population are Romanians. Besides being scattered, the unionist movement also lacks credible candidates and this is the most serious problem. “On this political segment that has grown considerably and consists of a  very large number of voters who are powerful and with special intelligence, there are no candidates who could satisfy these people,” stated Vladimir Bolea.

The head of the Party “Democracy at Home” Vasile Costiuc said the unionist segment that is an important one on the political arena is late as regards the parliamentary elections. In August, this is to set the legal participation formula – either a particular segment, or a bloc. The two political forces – the pro-Europeans and the unionists have the moral obligation and should have the national interest to leave the Democrats to struggle against the Socialists and to behave so as to have the capacity to form a majority in the next Parliament.
