“Political class is not capable of reaching compromise for Moldova’s survival,” chairman of the Centrist Union Mihai Petrache. Info-Prim Neo poll from the series “19 years of Independence”
The progress on the path to European integration is the greatest accomplishment for Moldova’s Independence, while the political class’s inability to act responsibly, in accordance with the national interests, is the greatest danger witnessed during the last year, considers the chairman of the Centrist Union of Moldova (UCM), Mihai Petrache.
“The political class does not show maximum responsibility in reaching a rational compromise needed for Moldova’s survival as a state,” Mihai Petrache stated for Info-Prim Neo. According to him, the political class behaves as if it is temporarily on this piece of land and does not care about the country’s future.
“19 years of Independence for me are an occasion to look through 19 pages of Moldova’s biography and objectively assess my input to the establishment of this state,” the chairman of the Centrist Union said, stressing that his and the political class’s hopes and objectives that contributed to the foundation of the independent Moldova did not live up to expectations.
