The Central Election Commission (CEC) on December 21 decided the period during which documents for registering candidates in the parliamentary elections in the national constituency and the participants in the national consultative referendum of February 24, 2019 will be accepted, IPN reports.

The documents will be submitted to the Commission during December 26 - January 24 from Monday through Friday between 9am and 4pm, except for January 1 and 7, 2019.

By its decision, the CEC entrusted the electoral councils with the task of creating the polling places by January 19, 2019 and the electoral offices of the polling places by January 29, 2019.

Also today, the CEC registered the electoral bloc “ACUM Platform DA and PAS” for taking part in the parliamentary elections of February 24, 2019 and the bloc’s electoral symbol that will be printed on ballots.
