The Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Donald Tusk arrived in Chisinau. The official was welcomed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean next to the Government Building. After the Guard of Honor sang the anthems of Poland and the Republic of Moldova, the two officials greeted it and went into the Government Building for talks, IPN reports.

The bilateral meeting of Recean and Tusk will be followed by an extended meeting of the delegations from the two states. In an hour, the two officials will hold a joint press conference.

While in Chisinau, the Polish official will also have meetings with President Maia Sandu and Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu. In Parliament, Donald Tusk will deliver a speech at a festive sitting starting at 06:30 p.m.
