The citizens of Poland who apply for long-stay Moldovan visas will be exempted from paying consular taxes. A bill to this effect was passed by Parliament in the first reading, IPN reports.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iulian Groza said the bill was drafted following a decision by the Polish side to annul the tax on long-stay visas for Moldovans from May 1, 2013.
In Moldova there are about 79 Polish citizens registered on a permanent basis.
