A policeman from Orhei will be tried for using inhuman and degrading treatment, while another three men from the same district are accused of using violence against police officers, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Prosecutor General’s Office. A vehicle driven by an underage boy was stopped during a raid carried out by the Traffic Police on the Rezina-Orhei-Calarasi road in August 2011. The teen didn’t have documents for the car. A number of persons cane to the spot, including the minor’s father and two brothers. They threatened the police officers and then got into a fight. Two more police officers came when they saw the altercations and tried to calm the aggressive persons down, but they were also attacked. Several hours later, one of the policemen went to the Orhei district hospital to receive medical care. One of the aggressors was there and the police officer punched him for several times.
