Policeman injured in hit-and-run accident

A police car was struck last night by a car that left the place of the accident. It happened in Chisinau's Buiucani district. Only the driver was in the police car that was standing. He was waiting for his colleagues, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Maria Shamatailo said the police officer aged 21 was taken to the Emergency Hospital with a cranial-cerebral trauma and a concussion. The police are looking for the driver who caused the accident.
An 82-year-old woman suffered carbon monoxide poisoning in a fire that broke out in her house. She was lucky as her neighbors felt smoke and called the firefighters.
Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance teams had dealt with 601 emergencies.
