Police to inspect markets and shops as Easter approaches
Before the beginning of Easter Holidays police and other competent bodies will operate inspections of the goods from markets and shops in order to counter the phenomenon of selling counterfeit goods. In this regard, a meeting has been held at the General Police Office (CGP), Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, (MAI) the participants in the meeting entitled “Measures for the protection of consumers and local producers before the Easter Holidays” included decision makers from MAI, General Department of Trade, Public Alimentation and Services of the Chisinau City Hall, Centre of Preventive Medicine, Service of Standardisation and Metrology and the State Sanitary and Veterinary Service. Participants adopted a plan of measures on prevention actions in order to cease any attempts of selling counterfeit products, spoilt foodstuff or smuggled goods.
