More than 300 bottles of alcoholic beverages, 150 liters of wine and 200 liters of ethyl alcohol were to be sold illegally at a market in Chisinau. The merchandise without documents of origin was found in an underground storeroom situated near the market, IPN reports.

According to the Chisinau Police Division, the police were informed that a young man intends to illegally sell alcoholic beverages at the farmers’ market of the Centru district of Chisinau. The 29-year-old man could not present documents of origin for the goods kept in the storehouse.

All the bottles were sealed and seized for examination. The owner faces a fine of 3,000 lei and confiscation of the goods.
