Police seize contraband cigarettes worth 605,000 lei

Four persons were caught smuggling cigarettes to the value of 605,000 lei out of the country, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime, the merchandise was to be smuggled into Romania. The suspects were arrested at the border, near Valeni village of Cahul district.
The court of Cahul district ruled that the four persons will be held on remand for 30 days.
