The police are handling five more cases of suspect corruption of voters. Evidence is being collected so as to classify the actions from legal viewpoint, IPN quoted deputy head of the General Police Inspectorate Marin Maxian as saying in a press briefing.
The police are also dealing with 17 cases of organized transportation of voters, which is by vehicles with more than eight seats, except for regular routes. Some of the cases were reported by representatives of electoral contenders.
In the morning, there were reported eight cases of road blocking. In Fârlădeni, the road was unblocked, while in Varnița-Bender the police have a dialogue with the protesters who periodically comply with the police demands and later return to their positions.
The reported illegalities include five more cases of photographing of ballots and four cases of campaigning, electoral advertising and nonobservance of the anti-epidemic measures.
In Comrat, there were also detected two cases of offering of assistance to elderly persons in getting to polling stations by volunteers. The police are taking measures to discourage such behavior.
