As a number of events were planned to be staged in Chisinau on Sunday, June 19, the police call on the people to show respect towards each other and to avoid altercations and urge the organizers of these events to obey the law, IPN reports.

Viorel Cernăuțeanu, head of the General Police Inspectorate, in a press briefing said the police will ensure the events take place peacefully. He called on the persons who want to take part to show mutual respect, to avoid messages that incite hatred and not to block the streets and to take care of the personal belongings. The drivers are urged to be patient.

The parents are strongly recommended to permanently supervise the minors, including when going to swim. The figures of minors involved in road accidents and of teens who leave home have increased. Over 480 children left home so far this year, stated Viorel Cernăuțeanu.
