The police discovered four minor girls having sex in an apartment in Chisinau’s Rascani district for money, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Ministry of the Interior. The 17-year-old girls, residents of Chisinau, were caught in the act of providing sexual services to Turkish citizens. Interrogated by the police, the minors said they prostituted themselves for the first time. They were paid by 100 US dollars for their services. The police established that the apartment was rented by a young man aged 24, who turned out to be the procurer. The girls were to pay him by 20 dollars each. Administrative cases were opened against the minor girls over prostitution. The cases will be examined by the commission for minors of the Division for the Protection of Children’s Rights. The young man is liable to a fine of 4,000 to 16,000 lei or imprisonment of 2 to 5 years over procuring.
