Police don't yet know who put explosive at Supreme Court
After three weeks of investigation, the police have not yet determined who planted the bomb at the Supreme Court of Justice on April 15, Info-Prim Neo reports.
General police commissioner of Chisinau Vladimir Botnari told a news conference on Wednesday that the investigation is not yet over and there is no final result.
“We do not yet have a final conclusion as the information is still processed. We have three basic versions, two of which have a criminal character. We suspect the involvement of persons from a criminal group that operated earlier in Moldova,” the commissioner said.
According to him, the bomb was “an attempt to settle accounts” by the criminal group. It was established that the bomb contained 1.02 kg of triton.
The bomb at the Supreme Court of Justice, which is opposite the Academy of Economic Sciences of Moldova, was found at the first floor by an installer on April 15.
