The dormitories of a Chisinau university were searched by the police following an attack on the servers of a company, the Ministry of the Interior has said. The police have five suspects, who are all students of the same university, Info-Prim Neo reports. The attacks were made last December and this January. The damage caused to the company was considerable. The hackers accessed the company’s servers and created accounts in the billing system. The fraud squad found the computers from where the attacks were made and identified the owners. The culprits are liable to a fine of up to 3,000 lei for causing damage by swindle.
