A young man from Chisinau was detained by the police as he blackmailed his former girlfriend. He extorted 2,500 euros from the woman for not publishing porno pictures of her on the Internet, the Interior Ministry's press service informs, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Employees of the special police brigade “Fulger”during October-November this year had followed the 25-year-old man who is the director of a limited liability company. They established that the man broke his former partner's password on a website and published 13 intimate pictures taken when they were together. The photos were shrouded in mist, but the man threatened the woman he would reveal them and publish them on other social websites if she did not pay the 2,500 euros. The man was caught in the act of 'working' on the victim's profile. At his place, the police officers found CDs, flashcards with videos and photos of the victim and the suspect taken with a hidden camera, the computer and web cameras. If found guilty, the man would serve three to seven years in jail or would pay a fine of 10,000 to 20,000 lei.
