The advertisements placed illegally on poles and public transport stations in Chisinau will be removed by workers of the Public Amenities Division. These will also clean the places for common use, sidewalks and other areas managed by the Division as part of the cleanup campaign launched in the municipality of Chisinau, IPN reports.

According to the plan, the cleanup activities will be completed by April 26. The Public Amenities Division will also clean the household waste storage platforms and will monitor the works to clear and lay out the areas adjoining apartment buildings, playgrounds and sportsgrounds.

Also, the General Public Transport and Communications Division will coordinate the cleaning on streets and in underground passages and the washing and painting of balustrades, bridges and parapets on the streets.

In the period, all the yards and areas close to kindergartens, schools and medical institutions in the municipality will also be cleaned. The district head’s offices will liquated the unauthorized waste dumps and will clean the beds of municipal ponds and rivulets, including the rivulets Durlești, Valea Gâștei, Holbacica, Țiganca, Malina Mică, Valea Trandafirilor, Ciocana and Muncești.

For their part, employees of the Green Areas Association will carry out cleanup works in parks, squares, alleys and green areas in Chisinau and will repair urban furniture. The damaged trees will be cut down and new trees will be planted instead.
