Poland’s European integration experience is of assistance to Moldova, PM

The Government of Moldova will continue to firmly promote reforms on its path to European integration. Poland is a good example in this respect, while its experience is of assistance to the Moldovans, Prime Minister Vlad Filat said in a meeting with Polish President Bronisław Komorowski, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Premier stressed the importance of the Polish official’s visit to Moldova, saying that it contributes to the strengthening of the Moldovan-Polish political dialogue and represents recognition of and support for the recent reforms done by Moldova as part of the European integration efforts. Bronisław Komorowski said that Poland wants to have close cooperation relations with Moldova, underlining that Moldova’s place is in the European Union. ”Poland supports Moldova’s aspirations for European integration and approves of the progress made in this respect,” he stated. Within the Polish President’s visit to Chisinau, there was held the third meeting of the Moldovan-Polish intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation. The agenda included a wide range of issues concerning cooperation in the commercial-investment and financial-banking spheres, agriculture, food industry, migration, constructions, monument protection and other areas.
