Poland to reintroduce border checks in July

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration warns the people who intend to travel to Poland that the Polish authorities intend to reintroduce checks on its internal Schengen borders, in airports and ports for the period between July 2 and 31. The measure will be taken in connection with the hosting by Poland of the NATO Summit on July 8-9 and World Youth Day on July 25-31, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the Ministry, to cross the border, the Moldovan travelers must have a valid passport and, if necessary, a document showing that they have the right to enter Poland. The Ministry recommends the Moldovans who want to travel to Poland in the mentioned period to make sure that they possess all the necessary documents.
