The chairwoman of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Vitalia Pavlichenko maintains that the pro-European parties must form a bloc for the November 30 parliamentary elections and expresses her disappointment at the fact that this idea is rejected, IPN reports.
In the program “Place for dialogue” on the public station Radio Moldova, Vitalia Pavlicenco said the main danger for Moldova comes from the East and a coalition of the pro-European parties is needed to remove it.
“A pro-European bloc is required for wining the elections. Afterward, we will struggle against the corrupt elements from inside these parties,” stated Vitalia Pavlicenco.
The leader of the PNL is disappointed at the fact that the parties of the ruling Pro-European Coalition allow the pro-Russian parties to conduct an aggressive election campaign. “I heard that Renato Usatyi is actively involved in propaganda in medical institutions. They allow him to do this,” she stated.
In another development, Vitalia Pavlicenco noted that the citizens of Moldova do not fully reject the idea of union with Romania, as several years ago. “We manage to convince the people by the high living standards there. Judging by Moldova’s development pace, we need 200 years to catch up with the EU and at least 80 years to reach the living standards of Romania, on condition that these states do not develop,” she said.
