Alexandra Can, the candidate of the National Liberal Party (PNL) for the new mayoral elections in Chisinau municipality, was registered as an election runner, IPN reports.

Alexandra Can is the eleventh registered candidate. The decision was taken by the Chisinau District Electoral Council on April 23.

The candidates registered so far are: Reghina Apostolova, of the Shor Party; Valeriu Munteanu, of the Liberal Party;  Vasile Costiuc, of the Party “Democracy at Home”; Andrei Nastase, of the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth”; Alexandr Roshko, of the Party “Our Home – Moldova”; Ion Ceban, of the Party of Socialists, Victor Stratila, of the Green Ecologist Party; Alexandru Matu, of the Russian-Slavic Party; Constantin Codreanu, of the National Unity Party, and Maxim Braila, of the People’s Party.

Two more applicants are waiting for the decision of the Electoral Council. These are: Andrei Munteanu, of the Progressive Society Party; and independent Silvia Radu.
