PM to visit Hungary

Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev and a group of Moldovan businessmen will pay an official visit to Hungary on October 16. During the visit, the Moldovan Premiere will meet Hungary’s Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany, Speaker Katalin Szili and Foreign Minister Kinga Goncz. Three documents are to be signed in Hungary, meant to complete the legal framework of the bilateral relations between the two states. These are the Cooperation Protocol between the Moldovan Customs Service and the Hungarian Customs and Finance Guard, Annexes no. 1 and 2 to the Agreement between the Ministry of Defence of Moldova and the Hungarian Ministry of Defence concerning the cooperation in areas of cartography and military geodesy and the Cooperation Agreement concerning the competition policy between the Moldovan National Agency for Competition Protection and the Hungarian Competition Authority. The agenda of the visit includes the participation of the Moldovan delegation in a business forum and the visit to the Tatabanya Industrial Park, one of Hungary’s most developed regions.
