Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița will request Parliament to extend the state of emergency. The official informed about this in the program “Black Box” on TV8 channel, IPN reports.
According to the Premier, the extension of the state of emergency will be asked in connection with the war in Ukraine as there is a risk of an escalation in the neighborhood.
The legislative body declared a state of emergency for a 60-day period on February 24.
