PM Recean to present report in Parliament

Minister Dorin Recean is expected to present a report on the 60 days of state of emergency in the Parliament’s plenary session next week to, Speaker Igor Grosu announced at Thursday’s siting, IPN reports.

The Bloc of Communists and Socialists asked for a progress report from the Commission for Emergency Situations. "Under the legal norms, at the end of each period, the CES chairman is obliged to present a report in Parliament," said MP Radu Mudreac.

In this connection, Igor Grosu reminded that the state of emergency expires on February 16. "There is willingness and we discussed with the Prime Minister so that he will come to a meeting and present the report," said Speaker Grosu, specifying that Dorin Recean is expected to come to the next sitting.

The examination of the Prime Minister's report will be decided at the next meeting of the Parliament’s Standing Bureau.
