Electricity charges for the right bank of the Nistru River will not increase in the coming months, assured Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
"We have taken into account all the risks that can materialize in the next six months and there are no preconditions for an increase in charges. We reiterate the request to save power during peak hours, and then there will certainly be no preconditions for the increase in charges," said the official.
The statement was made during a visit to Varnița, IPN reports.
The reaction comes in the context of recent increases in electricity charges following the halt in the supply of power from the Kuchurgan power plant after Gazprom interrupted gas supplies to the left bank of the Nistru.
