Prime Minister Iurie Leanca will pay an official visit to New York on September 25-27. He will head a delegation of the Government of Moldova to the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the executive’s press service.

In the evening of September 26, Iurie Leanca will give a speech at the UN General Assembly on the Post-2015 Development Agenda of the United Nations and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The head of Government will have bilateral meetings with UN high representatives, including UNDP Administrator Helen Clark, heads of other delegations to the session and with the President of Lithuania Dalya Gribauskaite.

The Moldovan delegation includes Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Valeriu Chiveri and state main adviser Liliana Vitu, who is the Premier’s spokeswoman.
