PM Filat requests data on income of state companies' managers
Prime Minister Vlad Fiat instructed relevant authorities to present, within a week's term, information on the income earned in 2010 by the directors of state-owned companies, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the Government.
The information should include salaries, bonuses, incidental benefits and incomes from other sources.
At the Parliament's session on Thursday, Victor Parlicov, the director of the National Energy Regulatory Agency admitted that his monthly salary was 44,000 lei. This sparked negative reactions, especially from the Communist lawmakers, who remarked the stark contrast between Parlicov's salary and the modest earnings of most people in Moldova.
