PM Filat advises youth to choose career in IT

The Government will attract new investors in the IT sector so that youth should't neglect this field when choosing their careers, because the IT sector offers good job opportunities and decent wages. The statement was made by Prime Minister Vlad Filat during his visit at Endava Company, where he met a group of young programmers, Info-Prim Neo reports. On the International Youth Day, Vlad Filat said he chose to visit a young company, as the average age of the 200 employees is 27. "I hope all the young Moldovans stay to work here, but I'm glad when they get the chance to garner experience working in big international companies and return home with new ideas and knowledge", said Filat. According to the Prime Minister, a year ago the Government initiated a large project of eGovernment. Over the next years, it will offer the people access to several online public services, without having to queue at different institutions. Radu Grosu, managing director at Endava Moldova, said that Moldova was in short supply of IT specialists and his company intended to employ over 300 more young specialists over next years. Endava is an IT company headquartered in London and operates in Great Britain, USA, Romania and Moldova.
