Prime Minister Dorin Recean requested that the institutions should better mobilize their forces to prepare for the winter holidays. At the beginning of the Cabinet’s meeting, the official asked to supplement the resources in the Government and also at the Airport, IPN reports.

“I will ask the Ministry of Internal Affairs and also the Ministry of Finance to increase the number of border guards and customs officers so that the requests could be dealt with in the swiftest way possible,” stated Premier Recean. He also instructed to raise the number of police patrols to make sure the citizens move around safely.

Dorin Recean noted that they will get in touch with the Romanian counterparts so that they also supplement the staff and cope with the flow of travelers who come home for the holidays.
