PM at meeting with Bulgarian President: Joining European family is a priority

Despite all the challenges, joining the big European family is a priority for Moldova, which is firmly advancing in implementing the necessary reforms, Prime Minister Dorin Recean stated during a meeting with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev. The officials are taking part in the third edition of the Diplomacy Forum in Antalya, IPN reports.

Dorin Recean and Rumen Radev discussed regional and global challenges, the reforms implemented by Moldova’s Government to increase citizens’ welfare and strengthening of the Moldovan-Bulgarian cooperation in key areas. They also conferred on the recent security developments in the region and the attempts to destabilize Moldovan society in order to undermine the EU integration prospects.

“Despite all the challenges, joining the big European family is a priority and we are firmly advancing in implementing the necessary reforms,” stressed Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

The interlocutors welcomed the establishment in Taraclia of the branch of “Angel Kanchev” University of Ruse. Thus, according to them, the quality of education and vocational training for young people in the south of Moldova, working conditions for teachers will be improved, while the graduates will receive diplomas in specialties accredited and recognized in Europe.

At the third Antalya the Diplomacy Forum of March 1-3, heads of state and government, ministers and experts are discussing topical regional and international agenda subjects.
