PLR officially starts election campaign

The Liberal Reformist Party (PLR) began its election campaign. It will be under No. 5 in ballots and its slogan is: “For Moldova, without oligarchs”. The party pursues five goals – to ensure efficient government, prosperity for all the citizens, the country’s security, European roads and political purification, IPN reports.

In the campaign launch event, the party’s chairman Ion Hadarca said that time has come for the political class to think about the ordinary people, but should not forget that the country’s fate will be decided in the next elections. The PLR represents the pillars and guarantees of flower and stone bridges to the European Union.

The party’s co-chairman Oleg Bodrug noted that Moldova needs to reform its political class and the PLR comes with a clean team that does not have what to be ashamed of.

Jurist Ana Ursachi and ex-Premier Valeriu Muravschi announced that they support the Liberal Reformist Party and will run as candidates for the seats of MP on this party’s ticket.

The event was also attended by the leader of the Romanian Liberal-Reformists Calin Popescu-Tariceanu, who said that oligarchy can be combated by reforms only.

Recently, the co-chairwoman of the PLR Ana Gutu, together with several deputy heads of the party and ordinary members, made a call to Ion Hadarca, asking that the PLR should be withdrawn from the electoral race in favor of the pro-European parties with real chances of entering the future Parliament.
