The Liberal Reformist Party (PLR), by a submission to Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, withdrew the political support for Minister of the Environment Gheorghe Salaru, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué of the party.

The decision was taken by the party’s Political Bureau following fault s identified in the process of implementing the planned environment policies.

The PLR proposed Valentina Tapis for the post of minister of the environment.
