Liberal-Democrat Alexandru Barbarosie vacated his seat of MP as he decided to return to the post of head of Anenii Noi district. “It is the decision and request of the team from Anenii Noi, with which I have worked for nine years,” Barbarosie stated for IPN. The resignation was tendered to Speaker of Parliament Andrian Candu.

Alexandru Barbarosie took part in only one sitting of Parliament. His seat of MP was validated on March 21 this year. He replaced in Parliament Kiril Luchinski. Eugen Bodarev, director of the shoes company “Cristina” SA, is the next substitute candidate on the Liberal Democratic Party’s list.
