The Central Political Bureau of the PLDM will come together for a meeting to choose the candidate that the party will field for premiership, the head of the party’s press service Larisa Manole has told IPN. The meeting will take place in the afternoon of May 14.

A news conference to make public the name of the candidate may be held after the meeting.

The Government of Moldova was dismissed by a censure motion on March 5. The post of Prime Minister is held by Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca on an interim basis.
