The Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) will soon start a campaign to inform the people about Moldova’s European integration prospects. In a press briefing, the party’s leader Vlad Filat said the members of the PLDM will go to all the country’s settlements and will tell the people what the European integration means for Moldova, besides notions and statements, IPN reports.

“The European integration process cannot remain a process of elites. It should involve the entire society. We will go from settlement to settlement and will discuss with every person apart,” said Vlad Filat.

The PLDM will later give more details about the campaign. Its goal is to familiarize every person with the objectives of the government and with the benefits of the European integration for everyone. The European integration is a safe road to ensuring the independence and sovereignty of Moldova and the people should know this, stated the Liberal-Democratic leader.
