PLDM is determined to form majority dedicated to European integration process

The Liberal Democratic Party is determined to form a new majority and a new Government that will be dedicated to the European integration process. “We hope to continue our common work for Moldova’s European future,” the party’s leader Vlad Filat said in a meeting with U.S. Ambassador William Moser and ambassadors of EU member states working in Chisinau on May 10, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the PLDM, the discussions centered on the sociopolitical situation in Moldova following the recent amendments to the legislation passed by Parliament. Vlad Filat explained the Liberal-Democrats’ position on the adopted legislative acts and stressed that Moldova’ integration into the EU was and remains the PLDM’s top priority.

Vlad Filat assured the ambassadors that the outgoing Government headed by Iurie Leanca will accelerate the implementation of the agenda of European reforms so as to strengthen the rule of law.
