PLDM has a new president

The head of the parliamentary group of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova Tudor Deliu was chosen president of the party in the September 9 extraordinary congress of the PLDM. Tudor Deliu was voted unanimously, IPN reports.

After the congress, PLDM vice president Alexandru Bujorean on a social networking site wrote that the party started a new page in its political history and Tudor Deliu is the one who can unite the PLDM’s team and prepare the party for elections, while his colleagues will support him in the process.

Tudor Deliu is the third president of the PLDM, after Vlad Filat and Viorel Cibotaru. Chosen on July 16, 2016, Viorel Cibotaru tendered his resignation on September 9.
