The Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) will submit the necessary documents to the Central Election Commission towards the end of the registration period, Prime Minister Vlad Filat told the reporters. He said the party he leads will have a short election campaign as greater attention will be paid to governance, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I’m the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, but I’m also the Prime Minister and bear direct responsibility for what is going on in Moldova,” Vlad Filat said. Asked if he is not afraid that the PLDM might be at the bottom of the ballots, the Premier said the result does not depend on the position that a party occupies in the ballot paper. The political organizations registered with the Ministry of Justice can submit the documents for being registered as participants in the election campaign during October 4-28.
