Two playgrounds will be set up in Râșcani district of Chisinau this year. The General Public Amenities Division of Chisinau announced a tender contest to choose the contractor that will execute the works.

Vasile Efros, section head at the Division, has told IPN that the two playgrounds will be built in the parks “Râșcani” and “Dumitru Râșcanu” in accordance with a modernization project that is implemented by the Râșcani district head’s office. 

There will be placed slides, swings and towers. Fitness grounds will also be laid out in the two parks, including for persons with disabilities.

Bids can be submitted between March 17 and March 28. The winner will be announced in the second half of April. The wining contractor will have to perform the works during 65 days.

A sum of 2.410 million lei was earmarked in the 2022 municipal budget for building the playgrounds and fitness grounds in the two parks.

In Chisinau, there are over 500 playgrounds and about 300 fitness grounds.
