The authorities launched a web platform through which the COVID-19 certificate can be checked and downloaded, Deputy Prime Minister for Digitization Iurie Țurcanu, stated in a news conference, being quoted by IPN.
Iurie Țurcanu said that the digital COVID-19 certificate started to be applied earlier, but on October 5 this solution was extended so as to accept and validate certificates issued by other states in which the person was vaccinated. The form of this certificate was modified as from today so that it is compatible with the European one. “We must cover all the three cases: one – the persons were vaccinated; two – the persons had the disease (there is a particular period), and three – a negative test was done during the last several days,” stated the official.
The certificate can be generated by accessing the platform and by introducing the state identification number and the date of birth. This can be downloaded and kept on the device and can be presented when necessary.
To get a test certificate, the test should be done at a lab, not in domestic conditions. All the labs and public and private health facilities that perform antigen and PCR tests are connected to the created system and any person who does the test for COVID-19 will be included in the database.
