The Civic Platform “Dignity and Truth” called on the embassies working in Chisinau to delegate representatives to monitor the large-scale protest scheduled for October 4. It also called on the foreign media to cover this event, IPN reports.

The Platform expects that more than 100,000 people will come to the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau on October 4. Its members considered it necessary to make calls to the embassies from the country and the foreign media, given that protesters’ demands have been so far ignored by the authorities. Thus, the Platform decided to continue the peaceful protests.

Members of the Platform called upon the embassies to delegate representatives to monitor the protest and asked the foreign media to impartially cover the people’s activities.

Representatives of the Platform said that on October 4 they will no longer ask for the country to be returned to the people. They will come to take it back.
