A number of 7,073 candidates will be admitted to secondary technical vocational education institutions on budget-funded places for the 2018-2019 academic year. As many as 680 candidates will be admitted on a contract basis. This is provided in the staff training plans approved by the Government, IPN reports.
Under the post-secondary technical vocational education plan, 3,759 students will be admitted on budget-funded places, while 7,361 on a contract basis. As many as 305 places with budget funding will be available at teaching specialties, such as early education and primary education.
The documents envision the continuous development of dual education. The secondary vocational education program includes 1,408 places for the purpose, while the post-secondary technical vocational education program 160 places.
As many as 4,906 students will be admitted to budget-funded bachelor’s degree studies, at 167 specialties, as last year. A number of 2,876 places were planned for higher master’s degree studies, while 453 places for residency studies. The foreign students can apply for 297 places, 255 of which for bachelor’s degree studies and 42 for master’s degree studies.
