The Cabinet suggests new solutions for preventing and fighting corruption in healthcare. A plan of action for 2018-2020 was approved by the Cabinet on September 12, IPN reports.
The authorities aim to step up the dialogue with the people so as to encourage them to declare acts of corruption in the health system. To better monitor the quality of the provided services, an automated system for registering electronic claims will be made available on the websites of medical institutions.
Among other planned measures are the improvement of access to information, ensuring of transparency in the decision-making process at health facilities, permanent monitoring of the integrity of institutions from the health system and promotion of a climate of integrity and meritocracy among employees.
