Chisinau’s Public Amenities Directorate has started installing ping-pong and arm wrestling tables in public spaces in various parts of the city.

Vasile Efros, department head at the Directorate, told IPN that tables have already been installed in Mezon Square on Moscova Boulevard, at 7/1 Studenților Street, in the Răzeșilor Square  on Doina Street, in Râșcani Park on Braniștei Street, at 45/2 A. Doga Street, and near the Albișoara Pond.

In the second half of September, chess tables will be installed in all the sectors of the city.

The Public Amenities Directorate bought 25 chess tables, 27 ping-pong tables and 18 arm wrestling tables. The total budget is around 1.5 million lei.
