The pilot project to directly invoice the water supply and sewerage services provided to the dwellers of 12 blocks in Chisinau is being implemented, the supplier “Apa-Canal Chisinau” (ACC) said in a press release. The supplier’s specialists, a team consisting of two supervisors and an engineer, together with the managers of the blocks and dwellers prepared the package of documents needed for opening personal accounts for the first three blocks situated at 25 and 5 Grigore Vieru St and 21 Gradinilor St, IPN reports.

Last weekend, the operators had access to 138 apartments of the 232 situated at the mentioned addresses. The company’s team will visit again the 94 apartments whose owners could not be found so as to make the necessary documents. The dwellers are to deal with the deviations identified during inspections.

On February 10, the team of ACC will go to fill out the documents for the next three apartment buildings, located at 31, 33 and 39/2 Cuza-Voda St. The dwellers will have to complete a form and annex a copy of the identity card, a copy of the documents confirming ownership of the apartment and the last water and sewerage bill paid.

In parallel, specialists of ACC, together with managers of the housing sector, will verify the information about each apartment required within the project and will put seals on meters that satisfy the technical requirements. They will draw up a document that will be countersigned by both of the sides. Later, the operator will collect the applications from dwellers to open personal accounts and invoice the services by exactly indicating the distributed difference in the volumes of metered water.

The specialists plan to accumulate the documents needed for the 12 blocks until the end of February. The decision to initiate such a project was taken following requests from dwellers in a move to minimize the difference between the volumes of water measured by the common block meter and apartment meters.

The 12 blocks covered by the pilot project are situated at: 58/1 Soseaua Hancesti St, 31, 33 and 39/2 Cuza-Voda St, 28 Drumul Viilor St, 61 Gh. Asachi St, 28B Ion Nistor St, 25 and 5 Grigore Vieru St, 21 Gradinilor St, 61 Armeneasca St and a block in Vadul lui Voda town located at 29, 31 August St.
