The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and the Moldova State University (USM) have announced a contest to choose participants in pilot courses staged by the USM within the “University of the Third Age”, IPN reports.
The courses will be piloted during October 2023 – April 2024. Persons older than 60 are eligible to take part.
At the piloting stage, there will be held such free courses as “Development of Digital Skills” and “Good State and Communication between Generations”. A course will last for 12 hours (1 hour = 45 minutes), with meetings once or two times a week. A meeting will last for 90 minutes.
The application to take part in the courses shall be sent to the email dress crfc.usm@gmail.com or submitted in person, between 8am and 7pm, to the Moldova State University (Chisinau, 60 A. Mateevici St, office 233, central block) or to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection (Chisinau, 1 V. Alecsandri St, office 715), during September 8-25, 2023.

The University of the Third Age is an educational platform adjusted for women and men in their third 'age' of life, whose aims are the education and stimulation of these members of society.
