A pilgrimage to commemorate Doina and Ion Aldea-Teodorovici will be organized to Cosereni commune from the Romanian country of Ialomita. Doina and Ion Aldea Teodorovici were the first to sing about the Romanian language after the national revival started in the late 80s, promoting its introduction in Moldova as official. In 1991 they sang at the Great National Assembly and in 1992 – for the fighters in the military conflict on the Nistru. In 2008 it turns 16 years since their death.
