New drone fragments were detected on Thursday in the outskirts of Taraclia town, about 2 kilometers from the District Hospital, IPN reports.

"Police officers are on site to secure the perimeter, and experts of the explosive ordnance disposal unit of the Police will examine the object complexly," said the General Police Inspectorate.

A number of drones crossed the territory of the Republic of Moldova last night, following a massive attack on the Reni Seaport in Ukraine. One of them fell and exploded on an agricultural field near the village of Ciumai in Taraclia district, and another one exploded on a field located between Ceadâr-Lunga town and Valea Perjei village.

In this connection, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs decided to urgently summon the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Chisinau Oleg Ozerov to request official explanations and to express firm protest against such unacceptable actions.
